Now under Chinese ownership, the Hotel Dalian faces a possible downgrade in service, but its unbeatable location, between the Qingniwa shopping area and the picturesque Laodong Gongyuan (Labor Park), makes it a good option for leisure travelers. Guest rooms and bathrooms are a bit small but otherwise classy and very comfortable. The Western buffet offers a great selection of local seafood.
