Shanzhuang Binguan (Mountain Villa Hotel)
Once the only hotel in town, this six-building monster directly opposite the Mountain Resort is undergoing a full renovation, which should be completed by the time you visit. They promise to retain a variety of simpler, cheaper rooms with common bathrooms for budget travelers. Usually these longer-standing hotels should be your last choice, but here a real effort has been made to stay in competition with the newer hotels.
