Qing Chuan Jiari Jiudian (Riverside Holiday Inn)
Perched on the west bank of the Yangzi River across from the Yellow Crane Tower -- emblem of Wuhan -- this four-star hotel has the best views in the city. The rooms themselves are immaculate and comfortably appointed even if the decor isn't inspired. Hefty discounts, a children's center, weekend barbecues by the river, and a Western buffet breakfast make this a good choice for families. Rooms overlooking the Yellow Crane Tower are slightly more expensive, but all rooms have comparable river views. One possible disadvantage of the Riverside's location is that it's across the Han River from Hankou; but the actual distance to the city center is only about 4km (2 1/2 miles).
Facilities:
2 restaurants; 3 bars; tennis court; exercise room; sauna; reflexology center; children's center; airline, train, and bus ticketing; business center; forex; limited room service; dry cleaning/laundry
