In April 2004, I established the website of hangzhouexpat.com. its goal is to establish an online community for expatriates in Hangzhou. According to the data from the Provincial Government, there have been more than 4,000 foreign residents in Hangzhou by August 2004. Gradually the number will be bigger and bigger. For such a large number of people, a place online for them to meet and communicate is very important. That's the reason the website was established.
