Celebrity City Hotel (Mingren Chengshi Jiudian)
This hotel was meant to be a Marriott, but after negotiations fell through, it opened at the end of 2004 as a Chinese-owned four-star establishment. Rooms are tastefully decorated, and deluxe rooms come with desktop computers. One big draw is that the hotel offers free broadband Internet access in its rooms. Bathrooms have a slight funky smell to them, but on the plus side, they come with a self-cleaning Japanese-style toilet and a massaging shower head.
