Branches of this Taiwanese joint-venture are far better choices for something familiar than the usual American fast-food chains. Green sofas and decent coffee at Western prices (in fact, the coffee costs as much as a meal) are the signature, together with an assortment of one-plate dishes, Western and Chinese, which include hefty portions of very buttery spaghetti and adequate sandwiches.Omar Coffee,just west of the Dynasty Hotel, is a detailed copy of the formula, with the same gauche charm.
