Longwang Binguan
This recently opened gem sits at the foot of the Jiegu Monastery, at the top of Hongwei Lu, and to the east of the T-junction. Limited to 20 rooms, the service is exceptional and many of the attendants speak impressive English. The Longwang boasts clean rooms, double-paned windows, and a second-floor snack shop. The downsides? A lack of reliable hot water (though the neighboring Hongwei Bathhouse can meet this need) and the absence of private toilets, though there is one on premises.
