Jiuhua Shan
Another fine roast duck eatery, Jiuhua Shan is larger and not quite as pleasant as the Beijing Dadong Kaoya Dian, but it's more conveniently located for people staying on the west side of the city. Whole ducks, relatively low on fat and crispy, are reasonable at ¥88 ($11). Sesame buns make a nice alternative to traditional pancakes. They only roast 200 birds a day, so get there early. A new branch, with the same state-run ambience, is located inside the Worker's Stadium.
