Lao Fan Jie Fuzhuang Shichang (Alien's Street)
It's hard to imagine anything more chaotic than the original Yabao Lu Market, but this brushed-down version comes close. It is impossible not to get lost. The first floor houses shoes, shoes, and more shoes, which mercifully come in sizes suitable to Western feet. Cheap, expansive, and often nasty, this market is popular with Russian traders. Open daily 9:30am to 6pm.
