Hanpu Yuan (Hanpo Garden)
This Korean restaurant in the shadow of the Jin Mao Tower is bright and airy, if otherwise unremarkably decorated. No matter, as it's the food that takes center stage. There are a variety of Korean standards, but opt for the barbecue, which is hand-grilled for you by friendly waitstaff decked out in Korean attire. The short ribs, marinated in more than 20 ingredients are especially delicious, as is thebulgolgi.There is, of course, the full complement of kimchi, various cold vegetable dishes, rice, and soup. You can also mix it up with some seafood pancake or the delicious spicy fish in a stone casserole.
