Staunton's Bar & Café
Located on the corner of Staunton and Shelley streets, beside the Central-Mid-Levels Escalator, this open-fronted bar was one of the first of many bars and restaurants that now give the SoHo district its unique, homey atmosphere. Above the open-fronted ground-floor bar (which boasts views of commuters going up the escalator) is a restaurant serving contemporary Mediterranean Italian fare. Happy hour is from 5 to 9pm daily (and again midnight-2am Mon-Thurs), with 25 wines on offer by the glass. It's open Monday through Friday 10am to 2am, and Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 2am.
