Within the next several years, the Minglian area, Huanggu district, Shenyang, will become another Korea town after Xi Ta (The West Tower, 西塔, xī tǎ), which is called “Korea Town” in Shyenyang and is home to a large portion of Shenyang’s Korean population, as well as a good number of Korean restaurants, bars, hotels, spas, dance clubs, massage parlors, and karaoke bars.
The Huanggu District yesterday held an investment promotion fair, cooperative agreements on five commercial projects have been inked with a total investment of 519 million Yuan.
According to the local news report, all the streets signs and company names in the Minglian Area will be written in Chinese and Korean.
