On average most tourist and travelers do not stay longer than two or three days in Chengdu. If that is the case, spend your time sampling as many of Chengdu’s spicy treats as possible. As far as tourist attractions are concerned, the Panda Research Base is the only must-see. For those on an extensive tour of China, there is a good chance Buddhist and Daoist temples have begun to run together.
