When to Go to Guangzhou

As a native here, I think the best time of the year is late spring and early summer, which would be from mid-April to early May. By then, the humid and over-cast weather is gone, but cool breeze and warmth around.Late October is also a good choice, which would be, comparetively speaking, a bit drier. However, June, July and August see the worst time of the year with burning heat and very dry weather. Most of the citizens try their best to stay indoor. As I mentioned earlier, before mid-April, there is always over-cast weather for about a month, which can be very disturbing in many ways. In a word, it's wise to travel Guangzhou during early summer and late autumn. In addition, there is no such distinctive changes among the four seasons here and what I constantly feel, as a local, is that there is only either summer or winter.
