Paradise Yangshuo Resort (Yangshuo Bailelai Dujia Fandian)
Located in its own compound at the western end of Xi Jie, this three-star Chinese courtyard-style resort dating from the 1950s once prided itself on offering the only classy accommodations in town for foreign tour groups. Guest rooms are furnished with comfortable beds, and bathrooms are duly clean, but it's really overpriced for its age. Service is efficient, if not exactly warm.
