Tangwang Xiao Xi Hu Dian
Regional specialties are scarce, but locals are proud ofshouzhua rou(grabbed meat): hunks of beef dunked in salt and pepper and chased by a clove of raw garlic (optional!). Ask for a lean portion(shou fen),unless you want to guzzle on huge lumps of lard. Thexilie niurou mian(beef noodles) are also first-rate. Lanzhou's liveliest night market, Xiao Xihu Yeshi, is directly across the road.
