You'll appreciate this hot pot restaurant as much for its good food as for its warmly lit, inviting dining room. The space is large and airy and affords privacy at every table. Ambience aside, the keys to great hot pot are the broth -- here it is rich and flavorful -- and the dipping sauce. Ingredients vary, but are likely to include bean sprouts, leeks, a variety of mushrooms, sausages, seafood, organ meats, and/or duck tongues. Photographs of dishes and ingredients remove the difficulty of ordering without an English menu. Prices depend on the ingredients you choose -- the more exotic, the pricier. I recommend any of thema la(hot and numbing) hot pots, but plain mild broth is also available(baitang lu).
