O'Malley's (Ou Ma Li Canting)
Best known as one of Shanghai's top bars and music spots, O'Malley's also sports a menu of Irish, English, and American favorites that range from bangers and mash to hearty helpings of mashed potatoes and flavorful steaks and burgers. Service is friendly and efficient. The old two-story mansion has been decorated like a down-and-out Irish pub, with plenty of cozy booths and tables on its main floor and balcony. In summertime, the large front lawn offers courtyard dining and a children's playground, a handy feature during popular weekend brunches. The beers, of course, are quite good.
