1967 Born in Beijing of China
She comes from a family that everyone started painting right after washing dishes upon each meal, bringing the sketch book even having a walk after meal. She builds up the solid basic skill in drawing so that she can paint easily freely in the ceramic clay later.
1988 Graduate from Beijing Art & Design Academy
In charge of Ceramic Studio for five years after graduation
1990 Zen Cat’s 1st Ceramic Solo Exhibition at Academy
1993 Establish the 1st Ceramic Art Center in Beijing
From 1993 onward, she conducted the study tour to many provinces in China, including Shanxi, Guizhou, Yunnan, Xizang & Hebei etc, for the traditional Chinese ceramic art, as well as many places in the world, Spain, France, Egypt and Nepal for traditional world ceramic art.
1994 Won the scholarship by French National Academy, study and work with French ceramic artist

This exhibition included her various styles of art creation, such as sculpture, ceramic, woodcut painting, wash ink painting, oil painting, cloth dying, handmade silk and installation etc.
Dongzi’s blue white porcelain art ranks the first place in northern China.
Always having imagination of God in her heart, Dongzi continues her art creation with non-stop, living her life joyfully. Everything in this world seems to her as a playmate in her fairy tales. To her, many of her works are created for the memory of Universe, for God to see, so she never cares what her works look like, where they are, and whom they belong to.
