Beilaishun
This long-lived Muslim restaurant, named after the legendary Donglaishun in Beijing, is often packed in winter, when believers and atheists alike quiet their shivers over the steam from brass hot pots(huoguo).Thin-sliced mutton is the main hot pot ingredient, but it's big on the menu, too: Try thepa yangrou tiao-- tender, baconlike strips of lamb braised in a simple soy-and-garlic sauce.
