Jingang Dajiudian (Golden Port Hotel)
Popular with Japanese tours, and well positioned close to the port for those moving on to Putuo Shan, this four-star tower has superb views over the confluence of the rivers at San Jiang Kou. The standard rooms are very plain, and the pricier rooms have bizarre pseudo-European furnishings. Still, the guest rooms are well maintained and of a good size, the bathrooms standard, and the building within walking distance of the last remnants of the old foreign quarter.
