Lhasa Hotel (Lasa Fandian)
Situated in the Han part of town, north of the Norbulinka Palace, the former Holiday Inn Lhasa is no longer a well-run property. Many well-trained staff remain, but the enormous block-shaped hotel is disintegrating, from the stained carpets to the overgrown grounds, and you run the risk of dying a slow death waiting for service. The Tibetan-style rooms are more appealing and tend to be heavily booked. Aside from the older north wing(bei lou),all rooms have piped-in oxygen.
