Frommer's Review
The specialty at this always crowded Muslim restaurant in the center of town is theteyouhuimian(house specialty noodles), which consists of fresh coarse noodles served with a variety of mushrooms and small chunks of lamb in broth. Chilies, cilantro, and vinegar can be added at the table to taste. The first floor offers no-frills fast-food dining: Order your noodles for at the counter by simply asking for a small bowl(xiao wan)¥5.50 (70¢) or a large bowl(da wan)¥6 (75 ¢); then grab a table and hand your ticket to the waitress. You'll be served within minutes. The second and third floors offer a la carte dining in a more pleasant, well-lit environment, but menus are in Chinese only.
