Located on the east side of the Yak Hotel, Dunya serves decent if uninspired Western cuisine that's enhanced a lively atmosphere. The menu offers pizza, pasta, and a range of Asian dishes, from Malaysian noodles to vegetable dumplings. If you've just landed in Lhasa, get the "altitude relax tea." Who knows if it actually works, but it tastes good. The convivial bar upstairs, open late, is a favorite with Lhasa's growing expat community, and the kitchen is supposedly one of the cleanest in town.
