The famous tulip gardens at Keukenhof in Holland have unveiled a spectacular flower display based on the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Visitors to the 32-hectare park near Lisse will now come face to face with a centerpiece display measuring 15 by ten meters of a Chinese dragon made out of 24-thousand 500 tulips.

Becky Chang, a visiting tourist, spoke out how much she enjoyed the show.

"I like the Keukenhof garden especially this year as this is China olympian year. Here we can find a chinese dragon here and I welcome all the chinese tourists to come here."

This year, Willem-Alexander, the Prince of Orange and member of the International Olympic Committee opened the Keukenhof's 59th International show.

Peter De-Vries is the garden's director.

"China is a very important country for exporting flower bulbs for Holland and probably as you know, we are not an attraction, we are more or less the show window of the flower bulbs industry in Holland."

Six million bulbs bloom every year in Keukenhof, one of the most popular attractions in the Netherlands.(CRI)
