Zhonghua Ming Shifu
This unpretentious local favorite serves up regional cuisine at reasonable prices. The house specialty is zhen bu tong tanrou, pieces of fatty pork braised in a homemade beer-based sauce until melt-in-your mouth tender. Also try the da ban shuilapi, a huge plate of mung-bean flour noodles served cold with cilantro, peanuts, bits of pork, and julienned cucumbers, all mixed together with a spicy sesame sauce.
