Looking for Textile Manager / Director (Hangzhou)

20 + year old California based textile company is looking for a manager to run and support all the operations of our present Chinese office. With significant US and Oceana sales team we require immediate help in our Chinese office. At this point we are looking for young energetic individual with significant textile experience in all facets of production, sales and logistics. We would require excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.
Minimum 6th grade, but would prefer higher.

1. This person would manage a team of 10+ people and must have experience doing so. On daily basis this person would have responsibilities to make sure that all in office work is up to date and all projects are in the right stage of progression.
2. Work closely with office in US to support all the ongoing projects (between 20-30 new projects every year).
3. Handle daily, weekly as well as monthly shipments to Unites States warehouse as well as client direct.
4. Handle quality assurance issues for new and excitant productions with over 30 vendors.
5. Work closely with accounting department in US as well as China in order to maintain accurate and update balance between all the parties.
6. Provide support to multiple customer service reps as well as logistics personnel in United States.
7. Attend all job fairs on behalf of our company in order to maintain firsthand knowledge of the market and what is available.
8. Hire and fire office personnel as well as support staff.
9. Develop new products on behalf of our company and design specifications.
10. Work closely with all the management team as well as travel to visit our head office in US and Australia.

We are looking for a very energetic person that is not afraid to work hard in order to achieve a preset goal. This is not an entry level position and requires significant experience as well as understanding of the textile market. We are looking for a person with a minimum of 5 years verifiable experience, as well as customer and vendor references.

This is not a Job but rather a career for the right individual. Compensation includes salary as well as profit sharing and commissions.
