The HongluoTemple was built in the East-Jin Dynasty and extended in Tang, named the
Daming Temple.
The name was changed to the Temple of Huguo-Zifu in the period of Zhengtong of Ming.But the locals called it het Hongluo Temple for the beautiful legend of the fairy Hongluo.
For a thousand years,the Hongluo Temple is the largest Holy land of Buddhism in the North China,and it is a resident temple.Master jixing and Master yinguang who are the twelfth and the thirteenth generation of the thirteenth founder of Jingtu Sect once came here.
