About as classy and pricey as you can get in Shanghai shopping, this ritzy development on the Bund has a Giorgio Armani flagship store (tel.021/6339-1133;daily 11am-10pm), and other not-too-shabby mouthfuls such as Ann Demeulemeester, Bottega Veneta, Vivienne Tam, Yves Saint Laurent, and more. Even if you are going to pick up that "Emporio Armani" knock-off watch at a roadside stall for less than ¥200 ($25), it may be fun to come admire the real thing through the looking glass.
