According to a press conference sponsored by the Guangzhou Municipal government, the 2007 Guangzhou International Design week with "Winning by Design" as its central theme, will be held from November 29 to December 4.
The Design Week consists of five main parts: the Design Expo, International Design Conference, awards and competitions, theme activities, and Design workshops. The main venues are the Baiyun International Conference Center and the Guangzhou Jinhan exhibition center. The Design Expo is the largest domestic comprehensive design exhibition and is expected to attract many first class exhibitors from home and abroad. In addition, many branch venues will be set up in the city, creating an "urban design festival" atmosphere.
During the week, the Innovative Design Awards 2007 (KAPOK Prize), the Headquarters Economy And Enterprise's Real Estate Design (Guangzhou) Conference, and the 2007 Asian Landscape Design Association Academic Conference will also be held.
