Kailai Guoji Jiudian (Gloria Inn)
This Hong Kong-managed three-star hotel catering mostly to Japanese, Korean, and domestic guests is the place to stay if you want to be closer to the sea and don't require luxurious amenities. An ugly white-tiled structure on the outside, the hotel has rooms that are comfortable enough. Bathrooms are bright and clean. The rooms facing the sea are bigger and a bit pricier. Views from seaside rooms are somewhat restricted by apartment blocks, but they are pleasant. Service is decent, though getting an extra towel is harder than it should be.
Facilities:2 restaurants; bar; lounge; indoor pool; health club; sauna; salon; concierge; business center; forex; shopping arcade; airport shuttle service; limited room service; massage; babysitting; same-day laundry/dry cleaning; nonsmoking rooms; executive rooms.
