Train to and from Guangzhou
The commuter train goes from Guangzhou and back in about an hour if you take the nonstop train. In Guangzhou there are two train stations, a west and an east so pay attention to which one your ticket says. In Shenzhen you get dropped off in the center of Lohu, near the border to Hong Kong.
