Sr. Manager in B&C
Position : Sr. Manager in B&C for Dalian China (Top 500 multi-cultural cooperation)
Position Division and Scope
Candidates for this position must have specific HR experience in the areas of compensation planning, job evaluation, market competitive analysis and salary survey management with either a multi-national corporation or large regional company. Some exposure to HRIS systems such as SAP and PeopleSoft is preferred. Client facing skills and experience managing and developing compensation staff are essential competencies for this role.
Responsbility:
1.Administers employee compensation programs including but not limited to salary administration job evaluations annual incentive programs sales compensation and salary range/geographic differential adjustments.
2.Manages the participation and analysis of compensation surveys overseeing the design of compensation structures based on the analysis and assessment that ensures the organization’s compensation objectives and competitive position in the market place are maintained.
3.Manages HRIS and compensation technology tools and systems to support compensation activities and serves as compensation representative on other HRIS teams to ensure integration between groups.
4.Administers the annual incentive plans polices and guidelines and oversees the annual payment calculation process.
5.Serve as a technical specialist on large-scale projects being conducted by the organization.
6.Collaborates with Compensation leadership and peers on special projects.
7.Monitors and provides reports requested by HR senior management for out of range salary deviations.
8.Manages the development of employee and manager communication and training materials related to compensation programs. Schedules training sessions and delivers training.
9.Consults and collaborates with members of Human Resources and/or BU/RU management to explore problems resolve issues or offer solutions on matters related to compensation programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field from a four-year college or university with six to eight years related compensation experience; or Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be bilingual (oral and written): - Fluent English
- Fluent either Chinese, Hindi or Japanese
• Must have proficiency with various software applications programs including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP, PeopleSoft or similar systems
• Willing to learn ePrism Technology (Salary Survey Management, Market Pricing/Modeling Tool)
• Knowledge of HR and Compensation better practices and trends.
• Knowledge of salary survey vendors and related resources.
• Minimum 7 years professional Compensation experience in medium to large sized organizations (sector, division or corporate environment).
• Prior experience working for a multi national consumer products, pharmaceutical or medical devises company
• Some experience working as a regional consultant or manager preferred
• Knowledge of region specific laws and regulations.
