Yinhai Shanzhuang
Built in the Qing style, this four-story complex, with its gray buildings, red trim, and bright green and gold roofs with upturned eaves, looks almost like another mountain temple. Mostly catering to tour groups, the hotel is a bit dark, but is probably the best hotel in Wutai Shan. For the best view, request a room facing south and the Nanchan Si, which is just a 20-minute walk away.
