Quèli Binshè (Quèli Hotel)
The best place to stay in town, this three-star hotel just east of the Confucius Temple has traditional Chinese buildings in a courtyard setting. Legend has it that Confucius lived nearby. Rooms, while not luxurious, are spacious, comfortable, and decorated in a style that combines traditional Chinese motifs with modern flourishes. Bathrooms have black marble walls and are a bit old but acceptably clean. Service is occasionally spotty but the hotel has a good restaurant that serves Confucian banquets and acceptable Western meals.

Restaurant; bar; bowling alley; sauna; concierge; business center; shopping arcade; salon; limited room service; laundry/dry cleaning
