Shanghai Party Secretary Yu Zhengsheng yesterday met Dr. Werner Müller, chairman of Germany-based Evonik Industries Group.
Yu said Shanghai Chemical Industry Park is one of the nation’s most remarkable chemical industry zones due to its environmental protection measures.
Yu invited Evonik Industries to further invest in Shanghai and extended the city’s willingness to help solve possible difficulties it may encounter during development.
Dr. Müller appreciated the city’s support and said the firm would seek new investment opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation.
