Press Club Bar (Jizhe Julebu)
The nearby Beijing International Club, renowned in a previous bye-gone era as the meeting spot for foreign correspondents, inspired this upscale bar inside the St. Regis Hotel. The elegant space, with leather-bound tomes, marble fireplace, leather armchairs, and brocade sofas, seats just 55. Old prints and vintage photos of Beijing pundits and reporters from days past line the long bar. The place closes at midnight.
