Orda (Ourida)
This is Uighur dining, made easy; with its kitchen in the center of the restaurant you can just point to what you want. Orders are taken at a register, and the food arrives at your table seconds later. Try thepilao(rice pilaf) set meal, which comes with yogurt, which you can dole onto your rice to give it a creamy texture. The atmosphere is pleasant, with walls decorated in colorful tiles and Uighur musicians that play traditional instruments. If you order the fruit plate, remember to eat the watermelon first, before the grapes and the Hami melon -- it's an Uighur taboo to do it in reverse!
