An oasis of sweetness for those who have overloaded themselves on goat cheese, yak butter, and that local specialty, deep-fried insects. Run by a French expat with excellent culinary skills, this somewhat hidden corner store has a great balcony upon which to enjoy a reliable Western breakfast. For the rest of the day, customers can choose from strawberry tartlets, chocolate croissants, and fresh fruit Danish. At dinnertime, among the excellent Italian entrees is a delicious four-cheese pizza, featuring goat cheese, Li Jiang cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
