The annual national science-technology award ceremony was held to grant its State Scientific and Technological Award for 2007 to scientists and enterprises who have made remarkable progress in technological innovation, at the Great Hall of the People, in Beijing, on Jan. 8, 2008.
Five projects from Anhui province won the State Scientific and Technological Awards, among which one, researched by Chen Fengxiang and his fellows with Anhui Academy of Agricultural Sciences, won state technological innovation prize,(a second prize) and the other four projects were granted state technological progress prizes,(the second prizes).
