Beijing'sWest Railway Stationor just abbreviated asBeijing West(Hanyu Pinyin: Běijīng Xīkèzhàn,SimplifiedandTraditional Chinese: 北京西客站, abb. Běijīng Xī北京西) is located in western Beijing'sXuanwu District. Opened in early1996after three years of construction, it is one of the largestrailway stationsinAsia. It was expanded in2000and is now able to handle 300,000 passengers per day and also had a vast amount parking lots added.
