Frommer's Review
This is a slightly cheaper alternative to the dreary Osmanthus Hotel just up the road, which while having benefited from a number of interior refurbishments, still looks like an asylum from the outside. The Telecom is simpler, but much closer to the station and is a good choice, if you are stuck in Guilin for the evening but do not want to blow your budget on a five-star. The rooms are spartan but clean, sufficient for an overnight if heading elsewhere.
