On the afternoon of May 31, volunteers drove more than 30 private cars, with 1000 pieces of summer clothing and 300 toys, to the Guangzhou children Orphanage. They celebrated the Children's Day one day earlier with the kids in the orphanage.
A Frenchman, with toys in hand, was playing with the children. He is a hotel manager of the Zhuangjiang New Town. This was the first time he has offered voluntary services in Guangzhou. Although there was a language barrier, kids played happily with him and climbed on the foreign father's back. After only having stayed in Guangzhou for seven months, the French manager felt he has already become a part of Guangzhou. He said that he would continue to participate in voluntary projects and help others.
