Brought to you by coastal Chinese investors is this new four-star hotel that seems to have broken out of the mold of the usual Chinese hotel with sleek, modern rooms that are the most comfortable in town. Bathrooms are sparkling clean. The location, right next to the main square in town, puts you at the Sunday market with a quick 10-minute taxi ride. The level of English service is impressive for such a far-flung establishment. When we visited after it first opened, they were offering enormous 60% discounts on their rooms -- hopefully, the same will be true when you arrive.
