Mingyuan Dajiudian (Mingyuan Hotel)
Not far from the railway station, this hotel, which is affiliated with Hostelling International, gets a fare share of greasy-haired foreign backpackers. The rooms, which are characterless but totally adequate, are a better bargain than the dorm beds, which come with an attached bath. Bathrooms, though somewhat worn, are acceptably clean. The karaoke on the lower floors of the building may give the place a slightly dodgy feel.
