Xiang Garden
The head chef of this fine restaurant on the fourth floor of the Bestride Hotel (Jiacheng Jiudian) was once a chef in China's embassy in Germany. Here his kitchen puts out perfectly executed dishes that are beautifully presented and delicious. A few of the delicacies arelingjiao(water chestnuts);hong zaozi(red dates);qiang qincai xiaguo(baby celery and pearl onions sauteed with macadamia nuts);qingjiao qiezi(eggplant sauteed with green pepper); andmitang sigua(rice soup with silk gourd).
