Wangxing Ji
One of Wuxi's most famous and popular places for casual dining, this assembly-line cafeteria has no decor to speak of, but the crabmeat dumplings(xiefen xiaolong)and pork wontons(xianrou huntun)are pretty good. A variety of noodles is also available here. Don't expect much from the apathetic service, and try your best to grin and bear the beggars who stumble in here asking for money -- or a dumpling.
