Shengi Binguan
This overpriced, overrated three-star perched atop some steep steps is nevertheless the best place to stay at the summit. It's only 30m (98 ft.) from Yuhuang Ding and 100m (328 ft.) from Riguan Feng. Rooms are somewhat dark but are clean enough and come with small twin beds and a small, clean bathroom; TVs are in place, but they receive no stations. The hotel only has hot water between 8:30 and 11pm. Thick jackets are provided for the sunrise viewing and the staff will make sure you're awake in time. A buffet lunch or dinner starts at ¥30 ($4).
