The Wanshengwei-Jinzhou section of Metro Line 4 will open on June 28. The operation time is 6: 25 - 21: 25 and the ticket for the entire section is RMB 9. In the early stages, 12 trains will run on track at intervals of 9 minutes. Daily passenger-carrying capacity will be 187,000 people. The 68.96 km long No. 4 Line has 27 stations (13 underground and 14 elevated), including Huangchong, Chebei, Chebeinan, Wanshengwei, Guanzhou, north Higher Education Mega Center, south Higher Education Mega Center, Xinzao, Guanqiao, Shiqi, Haipang, Dichong, Dongchong, Qingsheng, Huangge Automobile Town, Jiaomen and Jinzhou. Meanwhile, in order to bring more convenience to passengers, the speed of Metro trains will be accelerated on June 28. The earliest trains starting from both the North Guangzhou Station of Line 1 and from Sanyuanli Station of Line 2 are changed to as early as 6:10am. Also, trains will start earlier from other stations of Line 1 and 2. Progress has been achieved in the signal system construction and vehicle debugging of Line 3 and, with another new train running on the track, train intervals on the Tianhe Passenger Transport Station-Panyu Square have been reduced to a record of 6 minutes and 20 seconds, half a minute shorter than the previous interval. For the Guangzhou Dongzhan–Tiyuxi section, the interval between trains is 10 minutes and daily passenger capacity is 348,000 people. |
