Intel Fab 68 Department Director (Dalian, China)

Job Description
The Department Director will report to the Factory Manager and work with the factory staff to lead the Fab68 organization. The first local workforce positions will include Director of Engineering (for Process and Industrial disciplines-4 total), Director of Manufacturing (Operations and Systems-2 total), Director of Technical Training (1 total). Applying to this posting will allow candidate to be considered for all director level positions available at this time.
Responsibilities include:
o Lead the technical and process-transfer effort to optimize the start up of Fab68 in Dalian, China. This includes coordination within existing Intel 300mm factories to improve tool and process performance, reduce cost, and increase flexibility in process transfer.
o Provide factory leadership and management for proactive tactical planning and execution of the production ramp, resource management, and tool and labor productivity improvements.
o Lead and coordinate teams to develop inventive fab strategies and systems to improve execution and efficiency in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
